At the time of my writing the earlier post on Pepsi’s Change the Game campaign, only the TVCs of Bhajji’s Doosra and Dhoni’s Helicopter shot had been released.

Interestingly, Pepsi has decided to take up some of the ads in regional languages as well, as in the case of Malinga and Shakib. It adds better local connectivity, especially for players like Shakib who have huge fan-following in the Bangla-speaking region.
The campaign has thus far been a huge rollout from Pepsico, with hoarding in major cities, and special Change the Game Pepsi PET bottles finding their way all around. Coupled with the 6 new country-specific flavours that they have launched for Lays in the world cup, it seems that Pepsico is pumping in large funds from its corpus into the World Cup campaign.
Here’s hoping that the investment gives desired results to them, and soon.
